Beginning in the manufacture of board on board machine starts at three headboxes and wire sections, which generate bottom, filler and top layer, which later merge into the board web.
At BM2 paperboard machine were in operation 6 round sieves over which felt traveled and transfered filler layer frov sieves forward to filler layer press. The round sieves system has restrictions in the manufacture of certain board programs, as well as the system is very complex. Thus, the project was carried out to replace round sieves with more modern way of producing filler layer. The proposed method of redesign of the filler layer was with second-hand headboh and wire section with suction
boxes.
Work on the project included:
- installation of a new headbox and corresponding wire section with suction boxes of analysis and measurements of the existing situation board machine building
- implementation of the new approach flow of the filler layer with making documentation for new equipment, making process and instrumentation diagram, bill of equipment and piping
- redesign of press section of filler layer with preparation of drawings for new and remanufactured structural parts
- upgrade of the vacuum system with two fans
- carrying out water system for filler layer
